August is always a packed month on the island. Between the fiestas, outdoor concerts, and gallery openings, there’s almost too much to choose from.

A few things we’ve got our eye on:

  • Sant Agustí festival in Felanitx
  • Chopin Festival in Valldemossa (always worth it)
  • Night markets in Sineu and Artà

The Pollença Music Festival in August is always a highlight for me. Concerts in the cloister of Sant Domingo — you can’t beat the setting.

Also worth checking out Nit de l’Art in Palma if it falls in late August this year. The galleries stay open late and the old town comes alive.
